HER LOVE OF SPORTS
Her Love of Sports is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment for everyone in sport. We provide a safe space for girls - identifying as female or non-binary - to feel free of judgement and be able to express themselves, while achieving their goals and dreams. We believe in inclusive sport for everyone!

Our platform highlights and promotes the achievements, diversities and stories of professionals in the sports industry. The goal of this podcast is to be a platform for listeners to learn about ways that we can encourage females in sports, how to create a positive experience for our youth, and be a support system! We look forward to bring to you interviews, podcasts, videos and more!

Female sports are expanding across the world! Whether the guests are athletes, coaches, or females working in the sports industry, there is a story to be told! Katie Hamilton interviews women in the sports industry, highlighting their stories, achievements, and digging deep into some top sports headlines around the world. Girls and females drop out of athletics for many reasons and the percentage of drop out is big. Katie and guests create a place where young athletes can listen and feel inspired to pursue their dreams.

KATIE HAMILTON
FOUNDER, HOST & CO-PRODUCER
Katie is a sports broadcaster and professional soccer coach. She has worked in the sports industry for with global broadcast companies and professional sports clubs. Katie’s media background includes side-line reporting for the CanWNT & Canadian Premier League, Play-by-play commentating for League1 BC and University of Victoria Vikes, and reporting at her hometown news station CFAX. She is the BC Lions Host and hosted the 2024 Grey Cup in Vancouver.

A competitive athlete her whole life, Katie started her coaching journey at 13 years old and continues her passion for sports while encouraging young girls to follow their dreams. She holds Canada Soccer Coaching Certifications and is an ambassador for Lululemon. Outside of work, Katie is actively involved in her community, supporting organizations like KidSport BC, Make A Wish Canada, and the Children’s Health Foundation, and serving as a Board of Director.

KIRA RAPS
HER LOVE OF SPORTS
Kira’s passion for sports has always been a significant part of her life. She has an impressive background as a competitive figure skater and played field hockey for the University of Victoria Vikes women's varsity team. Her passion for coaching has led her to coach field hockey for over a decade, both in the Victoria Jr. League and Oak Bay High School. Kira's dedication to coaching has brought her team to win the 2021 Island Championship and the 2021 BC AAA Provincial Championship.
Sports has always been a key part of her life and finding a career in professional sports has allowed her love for sport to grow in a new way. Kira is the Soccer Operations Manager with Pacific FC, where she was part of the team that won their first Canadian Premier League Championship Shield.
CATHERINE DAVIES
CO-HOST / GUEST
Catherine is a former professional athlete and member of the Spanish National Triathlon Team. She is a 3x Spanish triathlon and duathlon champion, 3rd overall in ITU Triathlon World Cup 1991 and 5th overall in ITU Triathlon World Championships. She is currently the general manager and head of communications/media rights for a sports broadcast and media company.
Catherine is an advocate and supporter for women in sports, and is a recurring co-host on Her Love of Sports!
